Pre-Closing Walk-Through

Your walk-thru is schedule a few days to a week before your closing date.  It is scheduled by the warranty department and the walk-thru is completed with the warranty manager.  It takes about 30 mins. to 1 1/2 hours.  We walk the home and check for any defects. We place round colored stickers on the defects and any major items are noted on the walk-thru form (Attachment A).  We cover the lighting of the gas range, fireplace, hot water tank and go over other items.  Once the list is completed and signed by you, the superintendent is responsible for completing the list before closing.  They will walk the house again with you before closing to make sure the items are completed or not.  If the list is not completed, your communication is still with the superintendent.  Do Not enter uncompleted walk-thru items on the warranty request site, please contact your superintendent.

Once the walk-through is completed you will need to sign the walk-through form.  This acceptance does not affect your rights to warranty work under the terms of Brass Brick Homes Builder's One-Year Limited Home Warranty and Performance Standards.
